Carjacker sentenced to 12 years in prison
The Star Democrat: "In March 2002, Carlos Cannon stole a car from the driveway of Wayne Trice's house on Reliance Road in Federalsburg, drove it away as Trice hollered at him to stop, then wrecked it less than a mile down the road."
The accident was so terrible that Cannon - a man with a long criminal record who had just returned to the area after being released from jail in Florida where he had been imprisoned on a burglary charge - had to be cut from the car.
