We met Martin Sheen in 1986/87. Sitting on the ground at the U.S. Capital with a statue of a homeless couple in a silent protest,with homeless advocate/activist Mitch Snyder , alone after midnight. A complex and compelling man. Just this year became a West Wing addict. I recently found a statement I'd made about raising the level of public debate on an episode of first season DVD.
